Martin Luther King-A Great Man

Martin Luther King was a great man
Asking all humans to relate to his plan
Realizing all men are created the same
This was his quest, not looking for fame
In his lifetime great strides were made
New ideas formed as old ideas fade

Little did he care for his own well being
Under seige often yet he was all-seeing
Taking the heat for what he believed
He was outspoken yet well received
Equality his lifes work ,his dream for all men
Readily gave that speech time and again

King had a conscience and used it for good
In the end we all knew for what he stood
Now we honor his life on this day
Great is his legacy for paving the way

Deb, if only he could read this great tribute you made to him, I am sure he would honor you with a tribute of his own. Excellence is the category this falls under. Blessings. Joy (Jew)

A beautiful dedication to one of God's angels.. I consider MLK, JFK, Ghandi and RFK some of his angels sent to bring change in our world, Deb. Enjoyed. Always, Annalise
