Martians Calling Earth Nursery Rhyme
MARTIANS CALLING EARTH
Mummy, Mummy come quickly and see,
A pretty picture for Blib and me,
Blog was jumping up and down
Her helmet bobbing on her curved crown.
Look at this picture in the sand,
We saw them, they were not from our land.
They flew up into the sky in a rocket ship
Honestly mummy, mum looked at Blog and Blib.
What dream did they have last night,
Their TV aerial was certainly a mite,
Strange and the Moon and Mars picked up sounds,
Which seemed weird, and out of bounds.
Something unusual, her twins Blib and Blog,
Had noticed, that they were so excited about,
Absolutely no doubt!
Can Daddy please beam us to this land,
So we can offer them a moonlit Mars hand?
We’ll have fun and tell them to come and play
Any Moon or Mars day!
But Dad chose to use his rocket ship
On this trip!
So four Martians, Blip, Blog Mum and Dad,
Began a Mars, to Earth fad,
They took off to find this land, and Sam and Sue!
Poor Blib, with a slight dose of the flu.
They hurtled at thousands of miles an hour!
Their GPS directed to Earth, on four
We land, said Dad, don’t bump your head.
Blib stay still, you should be in bed.
The pups had seen a foreign approaching object,
Martians and curious pups about to connect,
The Martians were speaking gobbly goo,
And the pups excitement grew and grew.
They hugged and played and ran,
Becoming the first universal connection,
In our galaxy and under our sun,
What a delightful galactic affection.
