Marroned All Alone

Marroned all alone
My whole life my heart desired to be
a poet as everyone knows, A poet grabs
clever words out of thin air.

She thinks miles away from
ordinary she's marooned all alone
except for pen and pad in hand.

I'm at a restfull peace knowing
I can share my knowledge to all that
seek,That's when I'm at my highest peak.

A poet never gets a restful sleep
as the mind always travels through the
different channels,, That's passion

"I'm at a restful peace knowing I can share my knowledge to all that seek" is certainly a desire to which all poets can relate. Poetry really is about sharing feelings, isn't it? Love the thoughts you express in this great poem. Best to you, Carolyn
