Marriage of Seasons

Spring-
Springtime birds sway through the air
To sanction a love for a lifetime to share
In search of a sound
that quickens their heart
To find of their very own
perfect pitched Lark
Shaping a nest
in a strong sturdy tree
A humble abode sprouts a loved family

Summer-
Summers filled with playful times
Soaring together a lifetimes climb
Sprinkled with plentiful loving retreats
A life now filled all set and complete

Fall-
Leaves begin to lose
the brilliance of green
shaped now into hues
somewhere in between
Each shade they reveal
of their shared growing tree
Each shade a reflection
of each other they see

Winter-
Cold and stormy snowy nights
A comforting hold of a loved one so tight
Whispers together reminiscent memory
Minds tickled by the years sensory
Each leaf that once graced their
bountiful tree
Entangled together and drift off asleep
Paired forever in a cosmic cling
together they soar as they blissfully sing
Eternally leaning on each others
out stretched wing
