Mark of Cain

The way 
              of Cain 
ever
       leads
                 to pain
anger
so plain
              so great
              to bear
shouts,
hits out
            with
                    lies
denies
kin's
             cries
then
sighs
            ill met
            marked
forever
with
            regret
