Mark

What makes you who you are, is it your name?
and if you could change who you are who would you be,
Also what would be the same?
Does your age defines you, how would you define your age?
Some waste years searching for the perfect one
and yet here's the question, have you found you?

It's like a man being employed for the first time
before he had his entire goals set in mind
then suddenly the vision of the company became his own at the finish line
Does the color of your skin says dumb, weak or swine?
Does your color means to achieve, you must be a slave at some point in time

Why should I stay on crooked and cut straight
when we share the same heroes that shared the same faith?
Equal rights and justice for everyone was their cause.
Nowadays you have to know someone to get a helping hand
just because.
We say the children are for tomorrow and it's so hard to believe
if there's nothing for them now then tomorrow what will they receive?
Only you can change things but it starts with your heart
every journey has a end behind every start
and whatever you choose to do will determine your mark.
