Mark

I met a really big tree Who lives in a beautiful park He seemed to look back at me With a shape of a face on his bark All of the other scenery Was really pretty nice too But there was such tranquility With his most peaceful view I only saw him from my car On a mild December day His tree top stretched so far It was hard to look away He had a bit of character Standing sturdy, tall and tame One I’ll always remember So he should have a special name I thought about it a lot And decided to name him Mark Because he marks the spot Of a great time I had in the park Florence McMillian (Flo)
