gone and weeping
heart pierced with open sorrow
finding its mark

I see Deborah has instructed you on your Haiku, Zera. An excellent thought presented. I read you comment on her poem, about the rose. But Hey, a lot of the best of humanity comes when the back is pressed against a wall. A faith not tried, is a faith not prefected. Agape, Moses

Thanks Zera...I new it was a quote but I didn't find who said it...good ole Elanore Roosevelt! you have 2 actions in your verse...haiku attempts to freeze 1 moment in time ..this is more like a senyru because it's about humanity...heart is the topic..line 1 what happens to the topic goes in lines 2&3..with line 3 being a cutting phrase or juxtaposition...your line 3 is fine!
