Marcing Ever Forward

Marching Ever Forward
Calvin L. Genereux
April 4/2010

Step by step, marching ever forward,
Boys march to become men.
Inch by inch, marching ever forward,
In death, what are they then?
Go like pawns, marching ever forward,
Move in to face the threat.
Don't ask why, marching ever forward,
Your destiny is set.

Hades calls, marching ever forward,
Go to the thick and die!
Through Hell's walls, marching ever forward,
Given no reason why.
Move along, marching ever forward,
Never stop, never stall.
Line 'em up, marching ever forward,
Like dominos they fall.

Give them hope, marching ever forward,
Heaven waits in the end.
Tear it down, marching ever forward,
To Hell each man descends.
All for naught, marching ever forward,
To please monarchy greed.
They still walk, marching ever forward,
'Til tears of ember bleed.
