March Snowfall
My heart is ready for spring
desiring bright sunny days
But winter's hold won't let go
she blankets us with a March snow
Longing for Nature's green
when life reborn plays
But winter's grip won't slip
she laugh's with her cold nip
Ready to hear the Robin sing
a warm sun to melt the cold away
But winter's strong lasting long
she sings aloud her frozen song
Snow flakes become raindrops that cling
will this be ice or is Spring on it's way
But winter's raw finally begins to thaw
the beauty of her last March snowfall
