Marbles
MARBLES
When I was a child like (72 years ago)
Marbles were extremely important to me
If someone took or lost my marbles
Very upset it would cause me to be
Marbles were very important back then
No electronics or batteries to replace
A very low maintenance toy for sure
All one needed was a little space
As we age marbles are of utmost importance
So essential for a healthy body and mind
Without them we would cease to function
Thus a healthy life would come to a grind
So please take good care of your marbles
For we know they cannot be replaced
Try to live a healthy lifestyle
And a long happy life we hope to embrace
