Many Miles Away

I have a friend that is special to me
who lives many miles away
We both wonder how the other is doing
almost each and every day

I can imagine the smile that is on her face 
every time I hear her laugh
I can only hope that the laughter I hear
was made on my behalf

I love the times that she talks to me
about her family and her friends
There are days we talk about anything
and, I hope it never ends

So, when I'm happy or when I'm sad
and, I don't know what to say
I just call and talk to my special friend
who lives many miles away

But, it can also be a curse when we make new friends online that we may never meet in person... Still, just having that one friend to talk to is a wonderful thing no matter how far away they might be!... Keep up the great work Roger.
