Mans best friend
I will love you until the very end
My dog my friend
Nothing about you was pretend
Since you were a puppy
Always playing tough with me
Bringing the best spirits out for all to see
Attentive and loyal from the very start
You are in life with so much heart
By my side for some of the best parts
You are impossible to outsmart
Howling at the moon after dark
Always willing to go for a walk in the park
Singing out with your serious bark
Constantly in the water like a dart
Most of all you take care of me unconditionally
Constantly showing your loving affection
Wired with an overjoyed connection
With mans best friend and big wet kiss
Puppy eyes I would sure miss
My dog I wish could be with me for eternity
Running happy and free
Unconditionally always loving me
Ready to run an extra mile
Or just sit on your lap for awhile
My dog who always makes me smile
Mans best friend
