Mankind

Isn't it great to be human
hold the fate of the world in your hand,
to find out about the universe
and learn things we don't understand.

To be the dominant species
and take everything we need,
destroy anything that's in our way
just to fulfill our greed.

Trying to improve on nature
with concrete, bricks and glass,
removing such necessities
as trees and plants and grass.

Don't worry about other life forms
they already know who is best,
and arrogance and violence
will take care of the rest.

I pray if there's a God out there
let this not be our fate,
show us a way to turn around
before it's much too late.

I agree as you'd see from my writes but many Christians will tell you Man was given dominion by God (I don't belief the Bible is the word of God...just Man's ignorant interpretation of what he/man did not understand) God didn't write it man did. If you want things to change you'd have to reform at the very least Catholizm. Light & Love & hug a Buddhist passivist
