Mandate

New York City workers
Must be vaccinated or
If they show up for work, they will
Be firmly shown the door.

I’m heartened by this mandate
And especially in schools.
It’s time to bid farewell to all
The anti-vaxxer fools.

We’ve all been pricked for smallpox,
For measles and the mumps
And whooping cough and polio
(And sometimes on our rumps!)

So suck it up and take the shot,
Those missing jabs and swabs,
For you’ll be safer and, of course,
You’ll get to keep your jobs.

I sure wish we could "It’s time to bid farewell to all The anti-vaxxer fools" - at school they were told they would not have a job if they did not vax but they did not enforce it. The teacher's union stepped in.

You might recommend henna tattoos as a painless, cost-effective method of immediate ID (even when unconscious) of the vaccinated . . . .

I feel for those who can't have the jabs for medical reasons but I had no second thought about doing it - despite all the hoo ha about blood clots etc. I did my crossroads poem on taking the vaccine, and I've seen such propaganda from the anti vaxxers my friend showed me the magnetic arm video , had her jab and she was fine ... of course only time will tell if the anti vaxxers were wise rahter than crack pots! hugs jan xx

Well said Ilene, it those who are putting everyone else at risk. Those conspiracy theorists have a lot to answer for. Tom
