Man Trap

On the edge of sanity,
Perched upon the ledge.
Do you join the maddening crowd,
And give yourself a rest?

Anxiety can strangle,
An endless deep dark hole.
Suffocating rational thought,
Till you nearly loose control.

Fight a warring battle,
Raging in your head.
Regulate your breathing,
Invoke calm instead.

Despair soon disappears,
Swallowed way down deep.
Rational starts to return,
Find your inner peace.
