Man That I Love

Sing to me a song my love
of earth below and heaven above
fill my ears with the sound of your voice
and let me know I was your choice
let the light of my joy fill your air
and in my love you'll know I care

Strong is my fair one and true
with a depth rarely given to few

Caress me with the sounds of your song
for to you only do I belong
tenderly find each note that you play
give me all that you have to say
may your words reach into my heart
and fill each and every part

Sweet is my fair one and true
with a depth rarely given to few

Without you I am not whole
you fill the depths of my soul
kiss me with the rise of the dawn
at sunset fill me with your song
do not awaken my love
unless it descends from above

Strong is my fair one and true
with a depth rarely given to few
