Man Learns Courage

Man Learns Courage
     By Dane Smith-Johnsen

Man
learns
courage
and valor.
by risking failure.
and moving forward against fear.

Definitely a fun form to work with. I would submit mine to Brian's contest if there wasn't a 6 line limit. If I was to be this 'Man' you speak of my last line would probably be 'and crying in his girlfriend's arms' but yours works well on that existential level:) Oh loved your alien landscapes btw. Hope you don't mind I picked 'Electric Landscapes' as my new desktop theme. Let me know if that's a problem.

Surely, without "risking failure," man would never be able to move forward. Great poem, Dane Ann (I'm off fishing for a few days, but stopped by to say hello.) Love, Carolyn
