Man and Woman
Lady; do not ask of me -
the dirge that shakes the earth at noon
who falls too soon, who eats with a spoon
like the dog that dies, O' peace, it rests
her ladies lady, ladies gent
in the vacious time, O' both had spent
Give peace, they may
a love to feel
two mavericks from a far beyond!
strong as a lion; sweet as a melody
and the boundaries of forgiving
far from the end of thee
in the sky and in the blue of sea
a gent to she, oh he shall be
the sun; the moon and all that is above;
solicit love and bliss like roses
closes in, and all that they have known
gone with the wind,
and in heaven they are home.
