Mama's Letter

Chills of winter, have come and passed
I read your letter, it’s all I have
Says dear daughter, please be brave
It maybe winter, but I am with you

Darling please, my darling please
Darling please, remember me
Darling please, remember me
When in winter, remember me

Kiss your brother, goodnight for me
Here is my picture, remember me
He is too young, to understand
By this letter, he’ll understand

We had such laughter, such perfect plans
But this cancer, had other plans
Be the strongest, that you can
We will meet, in heavens rest

Darling please, my darling please
Darling please, remember me
Darling please, remember me
When in winter, remember me

Though the winter, has come and passed
I kept your letter, by my bed
And my brother, is now a man
I believe he understands

Mama please! my darling please
Mama please, remember me
Darling please, remember me
When in winter, remember me
As you rest, remember me
