MAMA DUN TOLD YA SON

Mama dun told ya son
Mama dun told ya boy
Ya, better say them there prayers
Mama said say them prayers
Before and after you wash them hands
Mama dun told ya son
Mama said watch and pray
Mama said watch and pray
Beftore you lay yo head down
Ya, better look around
And thnk God fo all He done
Mama dun told ya boy
Mama dun told ya boy
Oh! Mama said don’t you frown
Don’t let the devil steal your joy (now)
Mama said praise the Lord, (did you hear her)
Mama said praise the Lord
What are you hoping mama says stop and praise the Lord
Mama said praise the Lord
And thank Him for Himself and for all He’s done
Git down on them there knees Praise the Lord
Mama said gonna b alright
Mama said gonna b alright
It’s gonna b alright, got God on our side
There’s no need to doubt
Mama dun told ya son
Before you lay yo head down
Ya better look around
And thank God fo all He’s done
Raise them hands up and praise the Lord
