You are there for me
Whenever I'm in the time of need
Whenever I'm down
You pick me up
Whenever I feel alone
You are around

And even though you will be gone one day
I just want to take the time to say
That I couldn't see myself without you
Cuz nobody else can share the love like me and you

Mama, you are there when I need you
And when I need someone to see me through
Without you, I don't know where I'd be
All I want to say is thank-you for loving me

You taught me everything I didn't understand
And you taught me to do the best that I can
You told me to keep my head up
Don't give up
No matter what
