...had my wallet lifted once...but never my face...Andrea, if they removed all those counters they could play soccer in the empty space.

There's a lot in these short lines, not just women, not just mature, but the whole industry of selling beauty/youth and immortality. Congrats on your win

Congrats on your win Andrea. I am often being approached by these young ladies offering me stuff to protect and rejuvenate aging skin, or to regrow hair; I'm sorry to disappoint them, but my faith in these things is just about zero:) // paul

Andrea Yes, Shysters will try to sell anything to innocent victims. To me, whats inside your heart is better than what people can see on the outside. Thank you for the awesome comment on my Road Construction poem

Sounds like a modern day Merlin. I think it is better to feel young on the inside, than just look young on the outside.

A great entry Andrea. Some people will sell anything to some who will buy anything to try to keep their youth.

Ok, I must admit the word "shyster" just sort of flew over my head-- I was thinking some kind of slang word or something-- then I scrolled down on comments and got me curious enough as to its meaning-- tada, new word for me too! Yeah, there seems to be so many products out there promising ageless beauty-- but but but, maybe diet (I mean food you eat) can also really help. Very nice take on pd's contest, I like how you put that air of magic in it... sending you hugs sweetie pie

Got to find the best when you go shopping in a mall. As you indicate what is on sale there may be an unnecessary item. Peace & Love Matthew Anish
