Making Baby

Wanna make a baby?
Here's how it goes....
The ***** enters the vagina.
Then out comes a flow.

Meanwhile from the ovary,
down the fallopian tube.
A tiny egg is swimmimg
and plops into the uterine lube.

After a fierce battle
the fastest sperm wins.
Brakes through the egg's shell.
Then multiplication in ovum begins.

Oxygen and nutrients flow
through the umbilical cord.
From after birth on uterine wall.
Or placenta as it's sometimes called.

A little baby is growing fast.
Nine months to be exact.
The womb then contracts.
These are the facts.

Out pops a baby...
Simple as that!

I have long been facinated by the whole proceedure. For some reason the joke about the surgeon saying to the nurse, (caught with the sissors still in her hand) "I said.... slip off his spectacles!!" springs to mind.

Funny you should say that Eve. Being a midwife, I would have a wealth of knowledge to pass on to my offspring. That "birds and the bees" talk with each of them? They closed their ears I was so expliit.

But it is no fun Jan. I mean making babies is fun, but the poem is not funny enough to make Viv laugh. I may try again. Thank you for calling it beautiful.

Perhaps informative Daniel, but not so funny. if I spend more time on it.....but labour wards do not normally ring with laughter.
