Make the Mind a Sea

Make the marooned mind a mesmeric sea As the waves rise and fall, you’ll be free Drowning deep beneath the tormenting breaker Searching the serene depth for the peace maker When storm shreds the sail of your life In the shipwreck on the rough sea of strife With the perennial hope you’ll again float If you find and get a place on the divine boat In the mind’s mystique core of calm essence Within the fathomless sea filled with fluid silence Rests unperceived in the still niche so blissful The encompassing spirit of the eternal soul Life will vibrate in the rhythm of melodic delight Like the waves in the seamless sea scaling the height Join the marine dance of rhapsody becoming free Make the marooned mind a mesmeric sea (This is a reversible poem)
