Make My Life Whole

Fading away into darkness
A place you don't understand
Where half my soul resides
A place that I can withstand

All have a light and dark side
The light many can relate
But I also love my dark side
One that I refuse to sedate

I take joy in the darkness
one that touches my soul 
Still I will hold onto the lightness
They both make my life whole
