Make Me Acceptable O Lord

My Lord and most gracious God
anoint my tongue by spirit divine
make my words always full of truth
humbly spoken in every line

Grant me a pure holy mind
to be full filling my heart
thoughts that glorify thy name
for thou O God great thou art

May I be truly acceptable
before you and your grace
my steps be in godly lines
resembling your blessed face

This I pray my redeemer and rock
thanks to you for all you've done
receiving me as your adopted son

('Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.')
Psalm 19: 14 (ESV)
