Can I kill the pain today?
Just make it all go away?
Can I breathe again today?
Just make it all seem so far away?
Yesterday is over
The past is dead
Why is it so hard to get that through my head?
All the sleepless nights spent thinking about you,
and how you made me smile
All the sleepless nights spent wishing
that you could have stayed for just awhile
