The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Make Hay For the Day

So by chance we one day met
A super date
With no real sweat
Never fell in love so fast
A passion that was sure to last
And everything went very well
Just before things turned to hell
How life went down

That every day she checked my stash
So when I lost my friggin job
To her I was but one more slob
Then she cursed me day and night
No longer wanted me in sight
Can't believe it went so fast
Can't believe it didn't last
So now I'm back again alone
Don't even bother with my phone
Let's tie this tale up with a knot
Because right now
That's all I got

The deep pool of emotion poured forth in this work almost drowns the reader in self contemplation feeling each emotion so skillfully enlisted by the author. Well done. Emile.
