Make Believe Lovers

“Gotta go!” she said, And leaped out of bed, Where’s my money, see you next time? Thank you for being so kind. She loved me for almost an hour, My beautiful little flower, So quickly the time flew by, On to the next guy. I pretended she was mine, I pay her to be blind, A deep love for evermore, Until she walks out the door. We were there for each other, Make believe lovers, I gave to her and she to me, So very lonely.

A lonely heart has to do what it has to do. Well written, Timothy.
