Majestic Clouds

Billowing Majestic Clouds
                                  Dwarfed Mountains Cower
                                   Rain Marches Over Valley

We were so blessed by the rain we got over the summer, we'd suffered a horrible long drought that was actually quite terrifying as the dams in the region are drying up. But we were very well watered this summer :) I do hope you get a gentle rain soon Sara, and that those who are being overwhelmed by floods will be blessed with less rain. Thank you for your visit and sweet comment, I always so much appreciate you Sara. I hope all is well for you and yours :) <3

Thank you Susan, the view was indeed spectacular as I wrote this poem. I'm glad I was able to pen part of what I felt as I watched those mighty thunderclouds, it was a beautiful day. :)

Interesting! Never thought of mountains 'cowering' before. Quite an angle there, BJ! :)

Lol, compared to those mountainous thunderheads, they seemed so small, when usually they are so magnificently enormous, I guess that was why they seemed to cower :) It was a beautiful day and I was reminded of what my son once told me on a similar day long ago, "The mountains of clouds dwarf the mountains, it makes me feel so small!" The scene coupled with that memory caused me to grab my pen and ever-present poetry journal :)

I'm glad I was able to convey the picture nature was presenting to us Victor :) I penned this while my husband was driving, and it was a poem in itself, sung by the beauty all around us :)
