Magnificent Path Lit By Moonlight Dreams

Magnificent Path Lit By Moonlight Dreams

On a different road taken this day,
Magnificent path lit by moonlight dreams;
Wherein hope's promises hold greatest sway,
Defeating wicked world's usual schemes.

There rests, golden paradise most oft sought,
Beckons with deepest echoes of blessings;
Tho' with great sacrifice such wonders bought,
Tis filled with love's passionate caressing.

Blessed it be, if found in youthful years,
When greater strength and vigor reign so strong;
Although life may still curse you, send its tears
Fear not, more joyful days will come along.

Know Time will fly, have its destructive way,
Eating its fill of heart, our flesh and bone;
Coloring dire moments, with darkest grey,
Let not Time's dark curse, turn thy heart to stone.

Such magnificent poetry dear Robert. Each verse is as beautiful and enlightening as the one before it and the one after it.. my favorite verse among all the beauties here is; 'There rests, golden paradise most oft sought, Beckons with deepest echoes of blessings' - pure loveliness and an exquisite poem.. warmest wishes always my wonderful friend ~Susan

Very encouraging thoughts to paper. So many people do not know where to find advice for life. Yet everyone owns one.
