Magnetic Hold
Magnetic Hold
It was so...
Words can't express
Feeling your warmth, your embrace...it's been so long
Neither worse for the wear, both with our battle scars
You are just as unhappy as the day we first met
And I am just as lost
It felt good to get out of this cold and snow
To come play in the sun and the sand
Especially with you
Bodies entwined on the wet, hot sand
Human touch, out of want and need
Always the same as ever, so comfortable
How many times have we came to be one?
How many years has this gone on?
You tell me you can't seem to get out
What a hole you have dug yourself into
Like a constant magnetic hold, we are
Only getting so far apart, for so long
You tell me how unhappy you are
How you should have never let things get so far
The further they go, the unhappier you grow
The life you have built is draining your soul
You long for the days we used to have
The older we get, the more you regret
But for today
We enjoy familiar touch
Wet, warm lips, you kissed so much
Enjoy the day, cherish our time
Already counting the days
Till we meet next time
