Magical Stag

Magical stag appears on October 22nd every nineteenth year. The forest comes glistening to life when he doth appear. The faeries sing their tribute to this keeper of the woods. He is ethereal and magic, and he brings the fey such goods! With the stag comes starlight, sent by pinkish angels bright. From heaven they feature him, giving him a chosen spotlight. The brownies and the elves awaken, in the middle of the night. The prophecy has come true! They shriek with utter fey delight. The stag signifies healing, love, warmth, hope and other joys. He does not come lightly, so the faeries wake up girls and boys. A celebration is held in his honor, but with silence for it’s what he asks. Keeping the brownie and gnome babies quiet is an awful task. It’s the prince! The forest whispers; Luna moth glides through to say. The stag is here, it is going to be a wonderful year, and marvelous fine day. The forest blinks with happiness, feeling loved, honored and adored. I have seen him three times in my lifetime. With this I’ll never be bored.
