Magical Love
Love is a feeling deep down inside
Love is a feeling one just cannot hide
Butterflies flutter in the stomach they churn
Once bitten twice shy? But we never learn
Magical powers take over so much
Yearning and longing for that first touch
The magic doesn’t last but it sparks like mad
Making one feel young again never sad
Smitten with love the power is so strong
Having to give in to it before too long
Rose coloured glasses, tint the feeling so bright
Senses are heightened, like the stars at night
The powers that be take over our lives
Proposals are made to make us wives
Love goes on and settles like first snow
True love will survive false love will go
