Magic Seeds

Do you yearn for a fathers love
That never seems to arrive
Do you think that with a special love
It would be worth being alive

Can you see past the sorrow
Of your neglected needs
Can you find in your empty pockets
Those few magic seeds

Will you plant those seeds
In life’s fertile ground
Will you let the magic do its part
Until your beanstalk’s height is found

Promise to let those seeds grow large
A pathway to the cloud
Promise not to let sorrow take charge
Till you are on top feeling proud

Sorrow can lead to change, it is true
But it can also harden the heart
Sorrow can lead to anger and regret
But hope binds what’s been broken apart.
