MAGIC MOMENTS

Yesterday was a typical day: We woke up…we took a walk… we watched the sunrise over the water… paying no attention to the clock. We texted our granddaughter who’s been sick… remembering when she was young enough to hold upon our laps… We ate breakfast together…we did a little cleaning We watched TV…we took a nap. We ate leftovers for dinner…watched a movie under the stars And before the evening would come to an end…. we’d eat two scoops of salted caramel fudge ice cream… and have a conversation with a friend. It was late when we got home…we usually read but this night instead we kissed good night…turned off the lights and fell asleep when we hit the bed. This is just a sampling of the day we spent together… some moments were magical…some routine…. of course from the time we rose to the time slept there were many more moments in between. I think that’s the way life is supposed to be…isn’t it? as we move through our daily routine… from the time we wake up until we go to sleep we’re meant to find those magic moments in between. Because we know every moment need not be magical…. every wish need not be granted… as long as we have enough magic moments… our life will be enchanted.
