Madge Made Her Way

Madge chopped her hair good and short. Some thought she was her brother, Mort. Twas true Mort made fifty percent more pay. So she posed as a man that very day. No one bugged her for dates any more. Saved her money and bought a castle galore. Mort laughs when you speak of his twin. In the end, he says, she truly did win! Madge spent her life doing whatever she liked. Traveled the world, to faraway places she hiked. Without all that hair, that used to be in her eyes Had the best life of all. No big surprise!
