Mad Or Madly Broken

If I wanna scream, I’ll scream,
Tear myself apart seam by seam,
Fill my lungs with needles and sand
And try to make them understand.

If I wanna break, I’ll break.
When you can’t feel, you feel no ache;
I’m not afraid to shatter down,
To send my shock waves through this town.

If I wanna yield, I’ll yield;
I’ll my voice down, well concealed.
But when it all burns and you lose your path,
Wonder if my silence was worth its aftermath.
