Lying Next To You

sadly i lie in bed

with my worries resting upon my head

carrying an ugly frown

underneath my fleece laid sorrow and regret

he came into bed which he stayed unknowing

that he was the cause of my pain

he kissed my forehead and then he turned on his side

my face became red with dried but strained tears

upon each cheek

that night i felt defeat and a thing called pain i loved you so but how can i leave you here

with your infidelity lying in my face

i must find my way of escape
