Lured By Your Heart

Lured by your heart, I discovered your soul, an ethereal spark, it drew me in, convincing me to relinquish control. When we first met, my heart was far from whole, but somehow, I felt the healing begin, lured by your heart, I discovered your soul. Although my future seemed as black as coal, I found you were offering love, not sin, convincing me to relinquish control. Past experiences levied their toll and though my chances seemed extremely thin, lured by your heart, I discovered your soul. Clinging to hope, I gave the dice a roll, heeding my conscience whispering within, convincing me to relinquish control. I was like an actor without a role; then suddenly, it was my turn to win. Lured by your heart, I discovered your soul, convincing me to relinquish control.

emile, I remember when I did my first villanelle. Thinking how difficult it was and then doing several more in years to come. This one looks effortless , so I am sure you have done them before, and I love the repeating lines you used. They go really well together!! Lovely job.
