Lure Em In

April is here 
Spring is getting kicked in the next gear 
Leaving is winter basically a whimper 
Giving way to life’s beautiful day 
Like the New Testament said 
The cold of sin is dead 
Started as a biblical wish
 Friday is the day of the fish 
It was Peter’s business that was a blessing 
During a time that man was confused due to the world needing to do some confession
A seafaring trade he was giving that was his living 
Get a catch in the net 
Then sell it without any regret 
Next week sweets and colored eggs 
Will be reprieve to the fish that is ready to beg 
“Don’t fry me in a pan while sitting on the sand enjoying getting a golden tan”
Said the cod against the angler mob
“It’s time to leave the surf for the beef stuffing itself eating the turf” 
Mentioned the nice piece of bass avoiding the bait being cast 
“That is a nice plan,” agreed the human, “We could start Easter Sunday pulling the leg of that little young lamb.” 
“Sacrifice you must and as they say in America ‘In God we trust’” 
The devil ray reminded after the trawler could not find him 
Remember this thought during Passion Week 
It’s interpretation one should seek 
When understanding humanity’s meaning 
Giving up the debate that uses arguing and screaming  
During this break feel honesty’s power that is great 
Allowing relaxation and reflection on life with a loving mate
Being the closure that makes everything straight
