Lunch Break

Tomato and cheese
On rye if you please
Not from the deep freeze
I like a fresh roll
It comforts my soul
Lettuce would be nice
And a dash of spice
Paprika’s my vice

Coffee nice and hot
From the freshest pot
Add a double shot
Served by a miss Madge
Displayed on her badge
I gather my tray
She smiles when I say
Please have a nice day
