Luminous Love
Important is how he makes me feel
night and day
with every word spoken,
he takes my breath away.
Day by day,
I walk through the halls
Every step I take I miss him
and put up my defensive walls.
Drowing out the crowd
Smiling to myself,
suddenly so proud.
I'm thinking of you,
your gorgeous eyes of luminous blue
and how you make me smile.
I miss you,
haven't seen you in awhile.
But you're always on my mind.
Thinking about how our love
is so intertwined.
I get wrapped up in thoughts of you
but now you're gone,
and I don't know what to do.
My smile vanishs, the tears slowly fall.
and all I'm doing now,
is just waiting for you to call.
