Lullaby

I’m a saddest man on earth Though I didn’t mean to be But the only thing I worth Is your empathetic fee If you didn’t care to pay You don’t have a coin Maybe next time you will say Hi, my beggar boy Don’t you look so down and sad Let us drink some wine Well I hope you understand I didn’t have much time I feel better, how are you? You look rather pale.. I will answer yes, I do And I’m feeling frail I spent countless days alone Sleepy all the time You were out for so long Couldn’t send a line Let us say good night my love I know you don’t dream But I dreamed more than enough It’s the same old stream You just fall and there you flow Down the wind ahead And it blows about your home Brings me to your land..
