Luck

I got my horoscope the other day.
It said, money, a girl friend.
Will come my way.

Can you buy luck?
It never came my way
Who has the final say?

Two dollars of luck, Why not?
Maybe it will come my way.
Yes, I will pay.

Lonely, penniless and needing help.
I plead for myself.
I want to expand, to live grand.

The bad things to go away.
Never more to come my way.
All I touch turns to gold.
I am lucky, I am told.

Wish me luck.
I will wish you too.
The best that could happen.
To me and you.
