Lucid Dreams

The sun crept down on a waveless lake,
The phantoms slithered among the trees,
I search and I search with every breath I can take,
Wolves howl down this is not a place for me,
Camphor burns thin casting a shadowed filled fate,
Ravens flock in shock and flee,
Illuminated eyes waiting for my wake,
Another endless night in void bound journey.

I go back and re-read my poems all the time Corwin. Sometimes I see things that I can edit to make it better that I didn't see before. I'm always tweaking mine... It takes a lot of tweaks (even after I post them on PS) before I feel as if they are finished, and sometimes i never quite feel like they are... :)
