Loving God's Holy Truth - Psalm 119: 41-48

Receiving God's steadfast love as promised
all within the Lord's supreme gift of salvation
protect me from the taunts of the enemy
trust alone in God's word from lamentation

Keep your hope in God alone
believing divine truth forever more
may God's word never leave my mouth
meditate upon it till reach heaven's door

Be sure to seek after God's precepts
learn to walk where the road's wide
giving the Lord's testimony before kings
speak forth with no shame on every side

The holy truth of God I do love
lifting my hands to His law
this is my duty to the Lord
for this is evidence of no flaw

(This is my " Psalm 119 project" which I began to write a couple of years ago, so this is the sixth poem of twenty-two poems I've written over that time to cover all of Psalm 119. )
