Loves Perfection

Sing a song no one should sing
To say goodbye to loves perfection
The one who greets with peace and fur
One final purr one last reflection

But in the heart the fondness
Like a seed of hope will linger
Knowing in another form
Resumes a melody together

For a moment tears will flow
To lose the warm and tender friend
Until again the seasons pass
Alight once more at rainbows end
