Beautifully written reminds me of my few minutes on the porch this morning thanking G for the time. My poem about the Girl in the Red Cotton Hose was about the first time my father saw my mother. My father was born in 1899 and my mother in 1901. They adopted me when they were 47 and 45 years old both lived to be almost 97 years old. So all in the poem was about the era in which they were young. Thanks for your comments. Sara
